With the advancement of education in India many ambitious men & women wish to reach the top as leaders.Such people are in politics,business,industry,religious organisations,cultural groups etc.Some have greatness thrust upon them.Some others are steered to the top of favourable circumstances.But only few really achieve greatness by their own efforts.
A real leader is one who should have the ability to recognise a problem before it becomes an emergency.Courage,endurance,fearlessness and self-sacrifice are other qualities required of him.Anyone can be a leader if he could understand the job,creat the scope for progress and keep himself alert to the changing situations.He has to play a major role in shaping the goals,structure, and common activities of his group.
The captain of a military unit should have the orders of the day carried out.The official in a firm has to work with foresight,displaying superior talents.So also leaders of social,political and cultural organisations.They have to provide their followers with concrete guidelines of what they should do.
A successful leader should think on logical lines,express himself well,show readiness to face difficulties,do things in a cheerful frame of mind and win over his critics to his side.
